DIRECT
SUBSURFACE INJECTION SYSTEM
Direct injection allows rapid,
large volume applications to be made in a short time frame.
Continuous flows of up to 1,200 GPM may be directed from the
pump through the manifold directly into the soil with high
operational efficiency. This
umbilical method of injection minimizes runoff and maximizes
nutrient value. LWT has specifically designed this exclusive
swivel manifold system unit for easy turns at the end of the
fields without damaging the hose. Our two hose operational
system allows 40 acres to be injected with one setting. The
systems are available with five to nine injection teeth and
may be set from eight to fifteen feet wide. Injection plows
are available in the standard grassland (disk and roller),
furrow rake, and deep ripper configurations.
TRAVELING GUN OR WINCH & SPRAY GUN CART
Spray systems provide surface irrigation
applications of slurry with minimal manpower. The winch unit
is powered by either PTO, engine or hydraulics. As the two
wheeled gun cart is pulled toward the winch it sprays in a
part circle application pattern. The traveler is engine driven
and follows an anchored cable. Speed transmissions may be set
to meet widely varied application rates in the field. The
spray gun applies material evenly over ten acres (330’-1,320’)
handling up to 2" solids and is fed by a 4.5" to
5" diameter, 660 foot long hose. Application rates vary
depending on the flow rate, pressure and the speed of travel.
HHR HORIZONTAL AND CASSETTE HOSE REEL SYSTEM
These units handle the hose
lines required for injection, spray and dredging operations.
The units may be powered by PTO, engine or hydraulics.
Each
level on the hose spool handles 660 feet of hose. Double
spools are stacked and handle 1,320 feet. Cassette reels have
removable spools each handling 1,320 total feet. As one spool
is finished it is simply ‘un-pinned’, removed and the next
cassette is put into place. These
units are built with heavy duty gearbox and chain transmission
hose take up rollers heavy duty frame, flotation tires and air
purge system.
MULTIPLE
HOSE REEL
The
multiple reel unit also handles the hose lines required for
injection spray and dredging operations. The reels are stacked
vertically and the unit can handle up to five sections of hose
(each section being 660 foot of six inch hose). The
units may be powered by PTO, engine or hydraulics and are
built with a heavy duty gearbox and chain transmission, hose
take up rollers, heavy duty frame, dual axle with high
flotation tires and air purge system. The multiple reel format
allows more than two hoses to be worked without lifting off a
cassette reel.
HIGH
PRESSURE PUMPS
LWT builds three units using components which
are field proven for providing highly efficient performance in
moving slurry. The cast steel pump heads typically handle
three inch solids and provide flows of up to 1,000 GPM at 150
PSI. The
pumps may be driven by PTO, engine or electric motor. The self
contained engine units have heavy duty structural steel
frames, leaf spring axles, 90 gallon fuel tanks, full
instrumentation, and optional enclosures and side panels.
Engine driven and PTO driven pumps are often provided with
hydraulic power sources for driving LWT model chopper pumps
for priming, force feeding, and sizing. High pressure pumps
are typically supplied with accessories including suction and
discharge assemblies, primers and slurry pressure gauges.
LWT
SUBMERSIBLE
PUMPS
The Model 950 and Model 2000 pumps
are ruggedly built and specifically designed for slurry
handling. The
LWT submersible hydraulically driven chopper pump features
heavy duty triple bearings in a sealed housing to assure long
life. The drive shaft couples the hydraulic motor directly to
the impeller. The motor shaft and seals are not exposed to the
waste material. The pump passes 3" solids and heavy
slurry as all horse power is put to use pumping and not lost
on suction lift. Hydraulic power assures soft starts and
variable speed control This powerful pump is available with a
slurry agitation gate. LWT assembles three point hitch
mounted PTO-driven power packs for driving this pump.
