Robotic
Tracked Crawler

This track
mounted, remotely controlled, submersible, self propelled
dredging unit is ideal for applications in hard to access
tanks and pits. This unit was designed for explosion
proofing in tank operations with rubber cleats, and
stainless steel and aluminum fabrication to eliminate
sparking. Pump options include a LWT model 950
chopper pump for slurries (for API separators or
municipal sewage digesters) or a piston pump (viscous crude
oil sludges in petroleum storage tanks). The unit has 12
volt electronic, hand held, joy stick controls for track
steering, direction and track speed. The pump speed, as well
as auger/cutter head direction and speed, are electronically
controlled by potentiometers. The ROBOTIC CRAWLER
unit is powered by a diesel or electric powered hydraulic
unit. The hydraulic flow is supplied to the track unit
through a self contained bundled hose set.
The
LWT PIT HOG™ ROBOTIC CRAWLER has sufficient
traction and power to pull the hydraulic supply and the
non-collapsible discharge hose. The hydraulic hose and
discharge hose is controlled by the powered hose reel
included with the system. The hydraulic and discharge hoses
never have to be removed from the reel, as the hydraulic
flow and slurry runs through swivels built into the hose
reel.

powered to wind and unwind hydraulic hose and discharge
hose. Specially designed to control hoses without their
removal from the reel system. Hydraulic flow through the
reel system from the power unit. Will handle up to 200
feet (61 m) of hydraulic and 3 inch (7 cm) discharge
hose. |
| CONSTRUCTION |
Unit
may be optionally fabricated with Stainless Steel and
other spark-resistant materials. |
| The
LWT Robotic Crawler unit functions only with a pressure
compensated hydraulic system with variable
electro-hydraulic proportional directional control
valve. This system allows independent control of all
functions where changing the speed of one function will
not affect the flow or pressure to any other function.
These
specifications are representative of a typical unit, but
are subject to change without notice at LWT's
discretion.
